K-Laser Therapy

Here at Benetook Veterinary Clinic we now have a Class IV K-Laser that delivers red and near infrared wavelengths of laser light in order to induce therapeutic effects.

The pleasant and painless application of K-Laser energy increases blood flow to affected areas, drawing oxygen and nutrients which accelerates the natural healing process of the body by reducing inflammation and pain.

How many treatments are necessary and how often can a patient receive the treatment?

Acute conditions can be received daily with 1-4 treatments being enough.
Chronic conditions can be given 2-3 times a week with 5-12 treatments being required.
Long term conditions can be given 1-2 times per month, monthly.

How long does a treatment take?

The duration of a treatment can vary depending on the condition and size, however a treatment can generally take from 4 to 10 minutes.
